My autumn and winter are filled with all sorts of fun, exciting acting opportunities:  standardized patient work, voiceover work, Playback Theatre rehearsals, being an actor/plant for live scavenger hunts, leading light saber birthday parties at Adventure Theatre MTC, and much more!

John Johnson, a local playwright and fellow company member at Synergy Playback, wrote and directed a play entitled "I Am Anacostia" that was performed at the new Anacostia Playhouse in late September! I was honored to play the role of Sarah Macklemore.

 

Things are busy at Synergy Playback! We do a special kind of improvisational theatre called Playback Theate, which uses drama, music, and movement to "play back" stories from the audience.
